Leisure and Arts Programs

All programs have returned to an in-person format.

A non-refundable membership fee of $10 per year is required to participate in programs and must be purchased or presented at the time of program sign-up.

BPCA honours other community association memberships.

In an effort to ensure everyone who wants to participate in a program can, cost-as-a-barrier assistance and/or KidSport applications are available for those facing financial hardships. To inquire/apply, please email indoorcoordinator@brevoortpark.ca or ask a volunteer board member. All inquiries are kept confidential.

St. Matthew’s Multi-Purpose Room
Intro to soccer through preschool games and fun. Dribbling, passing and running, and gross motor skill development.
St. Matthew’s Multi-Purpose Room
Classes are tailored to encourage fun, creativity and a love of dance through movement to music. Students will begin to learn the basic posture and turn out required for ballet. Participants are asked to wear a bodysuit or similar comfortable clothing, ballet/jazz shoes recommended. Parents are asked to wait outside during dance lessons. Parents will be invited to watch the last class of the program.
St. Matthews Multi-Purpose Room
A fitness class for all levels with low impact choreography and exercises focusing on building bone mass, muscular strength and endurance.
Brevoort Park Gym
Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Players use solid paddles to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a whiffle ball, over a net. Lots of fun whether you are a beginner or a seasoned player!
Learn to Play Volleyball FREE
Brevoort Park Gym
Serve, Set, SPIKE! Learn the skills to volleyball by working with in a team. You will learn the basics skills while having fun with others.
Youth Drop-In—-$40

Open gym for a variety of sports and activities each week.
Young Einsteins—$50
Brevoort Park Small Gym
Each week has a science theme that will be explored through experiments, creative arts, music and active games.
All Levels Yoga—$100
All Levels Yoga integrates all aspects of yoga including breath work, active yoga postures, mindful movement, passive stretching and deep relaxation. This is a great class for experienced yoga students, but is open to all levels. Yoga mat and a Mexican style blanket (or a large towel) to class.
Gentle Yoga—$80
Gentle Yoga uses passive stretching, restorative postures and deep relaxation to help calm the mind and release tension in the body. This is a great class for beginners, but is open to all levels. Please bring a yoga mat and a Mexican style blanket (or a large towel) to class.
Brevoort Park Library
Are you interested in comics, cartoons, graphic novels or do you just like to draw? Learn to develop your graphic abilities and explore your creative side.
Learn to Play Guitar—$40
Brevoort Park Library
Learn the beginning fundamentals of guitar playing in a pressure free, welcoming environment. Class is designed for people brand new to the instrument.
A guitar is required for this class.

Note: Everyone participating in our programming requires a community membership. If you have purchased one from another community for the 2022/2023 year we will refund your fee with proof of purchase. Other communities will also honour the membership purchased in Brevoort Park.

If you require financial assistance in order for you or your child to participate in community programming, please inquire about funding available through the Cost as a Barrier program offered by the City of Saskatoon.
