Rink Repair Day
Our community rink can’t run without you. We rely on volunteers to help make ice, clear show, and complete repairs. Our equipment requires some maintenance and the rink needs new puck board, paint and love. Join us October 1 for a rink workbee. Free BBQ lunch for volunteers. Watch our social media pages and the fall newsletter for additional information.
Rink Supervision
Our rink requires an operating grant to run. Part of the requirement for obtaining the grant is supervised rink time. We rely on volunteers to supervise the rink at this time and ensure pucks and sticks staff off the ice. Unfortunately we have had ZERO
volunteers over the last two years, leaving one lone board member to shoulder this burden. If volunteers do not sign up for short shifts to assist, we run the risk of losing our funding , and consequently our rink. If your children or family are rink users, please sign up for a shift.
