Winter 2024-2025

Did you know our rink is community owned and FREE for all public use? A special thank you to all of those who have volunteered to help maintain the ice! It is because of your tireless work and efforts that all of our families can enjoy time at the rink.

Get Involved

The outdoor rink is fully operated by volunteers and funded by the Brevoort Park Community Association. Without community support for supervision and maintenance, we won’t be able to sustain the rink for future winters.

If you’re planning to use the rink or have enjoyed it in past seasons, please consider volunteering. Even a single shift per season, month, or week makes a difference in keeping this valued space open. Visit our volunteer page to learn more.

Shifts are available three days a week, with a two-hour commitment per shift. Responsibilities include opening the warm shack and ensuring the main rink remains hockey-free during designated Supervised Skate times.

Supervised Rink Times

Fridays

6:00PM – 8:00PM

Saturdays

1:00PM – 3:00PM

Sundays

1:00PM – 3:00PM

Guidelines for Use

  • Use the facility at your own risk.
  • Prevent injury by using protective equipment.
  • Do not bring breakable containers on the ice.
  • Do not leave shovels or scrapers on the ice.
  • Share the ice surface and nets. They are intended for everyone’s enjoyment!

Times may be cancelled due to wind chill or temperature below –26 C. Times may also be cancelled if no rink coordinator volunteer is found. Please consider volunteering.

Help to maintain the rink by reporting maintenance or safety concerns to the rink maintenance coordinator through our contact form.
